We organize protests and direct actions, coordinated with national coalitions, and local on-the-ground activists in our communities. We connect you with other activists that shows the strength of our movement. Take part and help us speak truth to power!
This workshop will support participants and teams in reflecting, strategizing, and organizing in 2025 and beyond. The approach will incorporate seriousness and rigor but also fun and play, experiential exercises, and a focus on next steps for learning and action.
Some of the possible workshop outcomes include:
· Increased feelings of agency, connection, and active hope
· Deepened understanding of strategic concepts, frameworks, and tools
· Increased movement capacity and skills - including strategic capacity, narrative capacity, and disruptive capacity

With the uncertainties of the incoming administration, many of us are seeking ways to take action to protect human rights and environmental justice. That's why Divest Philly is hosting a skill-building workshop on January 25 on Grassroots Lobbying 101.
This workshop will cover how to lobby your elected officials at the local, state, and national level, including how to write letters, make phone calls, and hold meetings with your representatives. These skills can be applied to any cause. David Gibson, Staff Coordinator for Peace, Justice, Sustainability NOW! (PJSN), will facilitate the training.
