Our purpose is to respect and care for the community of life.

 To resist war, preparations for war, and militarism both domestically and internationally.
To protect and restore Earth's ecological systems.
To eradicate poverty as an ethical, social, and environmental imperative and reduce economic inequality.
To strengthen democratic institutions at all levels, and advocate for transparency and accountability in governance.
To promote a culture of tolerance, nonviolence, and peace.
And to enable a voice for our members and the public on these issues.
