Our statement of Purpose

From the No More War Coaliton

(now defunct. This is open for review)

• ​Addressing the Crisis in Ukraine and what we can do to stop the war and help the victims,
• Not forgetting other wars that we may have more effective ability to do something about
• Calling out aggression, war, and violence everywhere. No to the Russian Invasion of Ukraine. No US war with Russia. No further military intervention by any country in Ukraine. We call for a ceasefire and negotiations, not escalation.
• We share a deep concern about what to do beyond war. We will act on climate change, poverty, racism, and human rights around the world.
• Finding common ground and a need for tactics that can bring a broader section of the public into the active struggle for peace. We commit to establish better intra-group communication among progressive activists in the Philadelphia area.

4.     Advocate for the Energy Security and Independence Act (An important climate change no war bill in congress)

5.     Actions on Lockheed Martin

6.     Joining the Divest Coalition campaign to divestment of city Funds from the War Machine

7.     Others as needed
