We call on organizations and individuals across the U.S. to gather at their nearest congressional office two weeks before the election, on Tuesday, October 20th, 30 minutes before the office opens for the day, and tell their members of Congress to take action to stop the war against Iran.
Show up with signs – Catch members of Congress and their staff on their way to work on 10/20/26. Arrive outside the congressional office 30 minutes before it opens with signs with one of the following messages:
Prepare – Before the 20th ask for a meeting on 10/20/26 with your member of Congress to discuss the war against Iran. Tell local journalists about your plan. Bring other people to the congressional office on 10/20/26 whether or not you’re able to confirm a meeting in advance.
Engage your member of Congress – Try to talk with your member of Congress and their staff about why you want them to take the four steps above.
Print this beforehand – Share this handout with members of Congress, their staff, and fellow demonstrators.
Take photos and post them online – Include #IranPeaceDealNow in your caption. Share photos of the event, along with a description, with members of the press.
Submit letters to the editor – Submit letters to the editor about the war against Iran and your event. Submit your letters before and after your event. Use this guide. Send a link to your published letter to national@actioncorps.org.
